Lace for tea by Johanna Basford - Lace for me by Viva Terra

 

One of this seasons trends in the fashion world is lace.  Oh yes folks, lace is back and it's on almost any kind of clothing you care to mention. 

With fashion we seem to have a love, hate relationship with lace and it's not everyone's cup of tea. 

In the home lace has almost always been used in a kind of girly way and has for the most part been relegated to the bedroom.   

But hold that result, because lace is breaking out in the kitchen, thanks to Johanna Basford, where it really can be your cup of tea! This ceramic mug and plate is one of those trends that will last longer than a season too.

 

Also, hasn't every little girl always wanted a lace covered pony?  Oh, maybe that was just me, but look, they're really cute and different and I'm pretty sure you'll love them too.
