It's the end of March and this is a special happy time in my family for many reasons, but today it's snowing. Yes snowing and I'm struggling to put a smile on my face even on this happy family day.
Then... I found Attila and Napoleon, not known for putting smiles on faces, but these little guys are the most adorable Kartell gnomes .

First we had daffodils on a plate now we have decanters and wine glasses on a tray, courtesy of Thomas Paul.
This oval melamine tray is dishwasher safe and would make a lovely hostess gift. Cool, modern and just waiting for a real wine bottle and glasses to be placed on it..... soon!
Now wouldn't that make a pretty cool looking tray look even better?
This Droog tablecloth is bang on trend with it's monochrome theme and it certainly has that unique quirky look to it but I don't know if it's for me. I'm one of those sad people who really likes to dress a table. I look through magazines and on the internet for ideas and that usually sparks some idea of my own, so the thought of speading a tablecloth to make the table look deliberately messy doesn't sit well with me.
However maybe I should just let go sometimes on the whole dressy table thing. What do you think, is this the tablecloth for you?

The daffodils on the white background are so real looking, like somebody has placed a host of daffodils (did you see what I did there?) on a white plate.

This really pretty cake stand could be filled with lots of Easter cupcakes and mini hot cross buns or maybe it could be filled with chocolate eggs in various sizes. I'd go for all or any of the above!

Looks like this daffodil cake stand will be the only daffodils we'll see this on the table this Easter.
I'm big on yellow at the moment and that's because I'm looking forward to Spring and hope for a bright yellow sunshine summer.
That said, here's something that's reminding me of good things to come and makes me smile.
