In keeping with the whole beach/coastal theme we've had going all week I just had to show you these cool anchor accent cushions.
They certainly float my boat, how about you?

Just when I thought I'd seen all there was to see in the way of home furnishings with the Union Jack emblazoned on it along comes this 100% wool rug.
I must admit the Union Jack makes a fabulous rug don't you think? This rug is made exclusively for Cox and Cox and I think they're onto a winner.
So, if you've got a decorating project in mind why don't you start with this rug and base your room around it. The vibrant colours and design certainly make an eyecatching centrepiece.

I'm sure that every budding football star will want one of these fabulous football carpets. This 100% wool grass green carpet may even mean that rooms are kept tidier. Well maybe that's too much to hope for but the mess will definitely not be on the floor, nobody likes an untidy football pitch!
Parents can chill out while kids use their imagination and practise their football moves and strategies.
Lets face it have you ever seen a poor football manager? Football players take home a good wage packet too, just look at Cristiano Ronaldo he's just been transferred to Real Madrid for £80,000,000! Keep working on those ball skills!

The Union Jack was never designed to be made into pillows, cushions or bedspreads. Lets face it there's a whole other purpose for it but we seem to have this fascination for making quite glorious home accessories and home furnishings from it. There are so many Union Jack cushions and pillows out there that it's hard to come up with something a little bit different. However, get ready to salute this fab design I've found over a Modern Dose. This quirky pillow has two different designs, with the Queen's head on one side and the Union Jack on the other.
Vibrant, quirky and really quite tasteful don't ya think?
Following on from the whole Union Jack and Queen theme wouldn't this black and white Queen Crown Hook pillow make a lovely addition to any room?
There's also a King Crown Hook Pillow available and I've an idea that they would make cool accent pillows on some plain white bedlinen.
Oh I'm lovin' these pillows!

Okay, so we've featured a few Union Jack cushions ,and we've also featured a couple of fabulous Union Jack upholstered chairs so it only seems right that we now feature the Union Jack as a tapestry or bedspread.
This fabulous textured cotton Union Jack tapestry with hemmed edges can be used in lots of different ways it's up to you to display how you please.
This tapestry is a great size at 108" x 90" and is available from Urban Outfitters. Teenagers love this kind of bedspreadand at only $36 you'll be unable to resist it too.

Beanbags and floor cushions were all the rage in the 70's and every home magazine had pictures of rooms full of floor pillows and beanbags.
Usually there was a picture of some bright young celebrity comfortably lounging on huge piles of floor cushions.
Yep, everybody had them because they were funky, new, and they were comfortable! Then we all thought we'd better grow up and buy "real" furniture.
Now with the retro look in vogue and the advent of real wood or laminate flooring floor cushions and beanbags are making a comeback, but with a bit of a twist.
Have a look at these fabulous Missoni designs. I bet you're picturing some of these funky beanbags, poufs and floor cushions in your own home. Yep, I lovin' them.

Okay so I know it's stupid to theme your bathroom colour scheme around coloured toilet roll paper but sometimes you just seem to find, unintentionally, a whole lot of stuff that sits nicely together. Have a look at these colourful shower curtains that I've found. Picture a plain white bathroom with these fab shower curtains and the matching toilet roll. Don't worry I will eventually get over the brightly coloured toilet roll, but not just yet!
This very colourful original British artwork graffiti shower curtain could match with so many of those coloured toilet rolls. The black, blue or green would go very nicely with this splash of colour don't you think?
Psychedelic tie-dye 100% cotton shower curtian. . Each of these very 60's looking shower curtains are hand-dyed which makes them unique. The colours are so vibrant. You choose which coloured toilet roll you think would look best with this groovy shower curtain. Maybe the pack of three different colous?
Okay, I'm over it now I think.

Winnie the Pooh adult throw pillow. Don't worry no need for a warning triangle (a) It's sweet and tasteful (b) It is by Winnie the Pooh and (c) no kids read this blog anyway.
Seriously though the sentiment on this throw pillow is so sweet that I just had to share it with you.
"If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day, so I never have to live without you."
No wonder Pooh has so many fans, he's so darn profound at times!

This sweet toy soldier pillow is the kind of accessory that can either inspire a room or can tie the whole room together. Every little boy I'm sure would love to have his own little platoon of guardsmen. There's a bedspread to match this pillow but personally I think a red, pale blue or crisp white duvet cover would be all that's needed. Lets face it too many guardsmen can spoil the broth.... or something like that.
Also have a look here at this fab vintage porcelain music box.
He's living over at ebay at the moment and he's got a little friend, who's being sold separately, so if you fancy buying any of them you'd better be quick.
Doesn't he look smart in his bright red tunic and his ehhhhhmmm red nose?

We're lucky enough to have a Dunelm Mill store near where we live and I really enjoy my trips there. The place is always jam packed with lots of stuff. They have everything that you would need for the home. I love their curtain fabric, bedding, cushions, china and lamps. Yep you've guessed it, they've got lots of lovely things. If you're not lucky enough to be near a store then you can browse and buy from their website. I've already had a look for you and I've found this fabulous reversible rose design throw in black and cream. It comes in two sizes and would look good on a bed or over a chair or sofa. Sorry about that, of course you know what to do with a throw without me telling you!
Anyway I digress, I'm lovin' the art deco style rose motif and I'm already wondering where I could "throw" this emmm ....lovely..... throw!
